Scott Leuchter - Chief People Officer, Ideal Tridon Group

FUN FACT: Scott has been playing guitar since he was 9 or 10 years old. His favorite band is U2, but he enjoys playing all kinds of music.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PART OF WORKING AT ITG SO FAR? “The leadership team. From day one, they embraced me. Everyone here is focused on doing the right thing, and it’s obvious that they really care about the people here.”

While Scott Leuchter officially joined Ideal Tridon Group as our Chief People Officer a few months ago, he’s no stranger to the team, having previously worked with our executive leadership as a consultant on employee experience initiatives. Now, he leads all things “people” across the organization, from HR strategy to quarterly planning for our business units.

Scott brings more than 25 years of HR experience, including roles in both corporate leadership and consulting. Before Ideal Tridon, he was the CPO for a pharmaceutical manufacturer and worked on large-scale HR transformation projects designed to improve efficiency and culture. Ultimately, Scott’s leadership style is all about servant leadership. “It’s simple,” he says. “If you take care of your people, they’ll take care of everything else.”

In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife of 22 years, who homeschools their two children. He loves to be active, and you can often find him cycling, golfing, or working out. Scott is also a U.S. Army veteran who served for 10 years, including during Desert Storm. His favorite movie is Dead Poets Society because of the message: “Carpe Diem.”
